Sautéed Shrimp

3 tablespoons olive oil
1/3 cup finely chopped onion
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 bay leaf
1 ½ lbs. large shrimp, peeled and deveined
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ cup Galena Cellars General’s Reserve White wine
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
¼ teaspoon dried thyme 

Heat oil in large skillet.  Add onion and sauté 2 minutes; add garlic and bay leaf, sauté 30 seconds more.  Add shrimp and sauté until opaque, about 3-4 minutes.  Add wine, parsley and thyme, and cook 1 minute.  Serve immediately.  4 servings.
